show less... 1. Download the .zip file by clicking on the link above
2. Save the file on your computer and unzip the contents which contain:
a .html file, a .swf file, a .jpg file, and a .txt file
3. DON'T move any of the files from the folder as everything needs to be in the same place!
4. To run the generator, right-click on the .html file and choose to open it with your browser (IE/Firefox etc). You should now be able to use the generator as normal.
Want to Change the Outcomes...?
show less... You can change the potential outcomes from the generator by editing the .txt file:
1. Open the .txt file using Notepad (Windows) or TextEdit (Mac) N.B. DO NOT USE MS WORD OR ANY OTHER WORD PROCESSOR AS THE IT MAY CAUSE THE GENERATOR TO FAIL
2. Change the text as appropriate but only the text that relates to the task; don't be tempted to alter anything else. e.g.:
"e1= a radio programme can be changed to "e1= relate to Chaos theory (or whatever you want!)
3. Save the .txt file (CTRL and S) which overwrites the original file.
4. Relaunch the Generator in your browser (as in Step 4 above) and hey presto, you now have your own customised generator.
